Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages welcomes applications from qualified students from around the world. We are the only university in southern Taiwan that teaches foreign languages using the target language as the language of instruction. Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages has bilateral agreements with a number of universities abroad. International students are also eligible to enroll in degree studies/programs at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages after following the appropriate application procedures.

Entry Requirements
1. Applying for Degree Programs
International students are eligible for degree programs in the Day Division that offers master, bachelor and associate degrees. Candidates’ diploma and related qualification certificates should be verified by Taiwan’s overseas representative offices or authorized agencies for admission application.
(1) Graduate Institute Program: Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign universities, colleges or equivalent.
(2) Four-Year College Program: Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign vocational high school, high school or equivalent.
(3) Two-Year College Program: Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign junior colleges or equivalent.
(4)Five-Year Junior College Program: Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign junior high schools or equivalent.

2. Enrolling for the International Exchange Student Program
This program is available only for international students from schools which have signed academic cooperation agreement or MOU with Wenzao. Please check out the website (https://d020.wzu.edu.tw/category/150597 ) to make sure if your school is on the list.

We award 50 full scholarships and 100 half scholarships in principle to be distributed among graduate, undergraduate and junior college students combined every year.

Chinese Language Learning
International students have great opportunities to learn Chinese in Wenzao since our “Chinese Language Center” is one of the best Chinese learning centers in Taiwan. The Center of Chinese Language focuses on language and cultural exchange between the Chinese and peoples from other nations. Our instructors are speakers of standard Mandarin, well-trained and highly experienced in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. With the guidance of these teachers, students soon master practical Chinese, adapt to life in Taiwan, and are able to appreciate many aspects Chinese culture.
